A recent report uncovered a horrible reality in Nigeria. Children have become the target of a modern day witch hunt propelled by greed and in the “name” of Christianity.

“Preachers” in this depressed and desolate country are using the name of God to scare parents into paying for exorcism services. If the parents do not pay, the “preacher” demands the child be abandoned in a field a few miles away. Labeled as witches these children are horribly tortured and abused in order to rid them of the supposed evil spirit that possess their body. This is obviously not the way of Christ, but the way of very sick greedy men, using the name of Christ to inflict fear and hate.
