Prayer request for all over the world will be answer with United in Prayers
Prayer request for June 22, 2008 PDF Print E-mail
Thank you to all who have prayed and continue to pray for all of the people effected by the massive flooding in the midwest.
Since June 6, 24 people have dies and 148 people have been injured as a result of the flooding currently effecting 6 states. Natural disaster's across the globe have been the subject of our prayers for months now, and as the summer approaches we find that now we are being given a sample of what these lesser developed nations have been facing.

We should continue to pray for all of the countries experiencing the loss caused by these natural disaster and now include in our prayers the thousands of people who have lost their homes and loved ones due to the Mississippi river levees breaking after the pressure of the swelling waters compromised there effectiveness.

Weather forecasters expect that the danger is not over, and have warned that any town that is protected by a levee is still under risk, explaining that the longer the levees have that much water pressing against their walls, the better the chance of those walls breaking. Currently northeastern Missouri and Illinois are under careful watch as the river has risen above the forecasted projections.

Please pray for the safety of all of these people and for the emergency workers who put their lives in danger in order to protect and rescue those who have found themselves in the midst of this disaster.
