Thank you to all who have prayed for father's that they may understand the importance of their role not just as providers but as playmates, guides, problem solvers and examples to their children.
We ask that on this Father's day that all members pray not just for Fathers but for all men who will one day be fathers. That though our prayers God will give them an understanding of the vital importance they play in their children's lives. Being there for a child is more than just physical presence, but helping to meet their child's social, emotional and spiritual needs. Father's have not just a responsibility but an opportunity to teach their children through example how to pray, how to play and how to be part of a family. |

Thank you to all who prayed for the victims of the Myanmar cyclone.
As if Myanmar is not burdened with enough problems, now literally thousands are dead, and food, water and shelter are scarce. In a country that is strictly controlled by a military regime and keeps it's borders tightly closed from the rest of the world, it is imperative that we pray for the people suffering and that the government will allow foreign aid to it's repressed citizens. |
